Free Weekly Excerpts:
We have discontinued the weekly excerpts in AJA Alerts as of June 21, 2016, due to a complaint by an agency that was the subject of one of the court decisions. This will not effect the content of the Caselaw Catalog or the Caselaw Quarterly. Sample issues of the Quarterly will continue to be available on this page.

Detention and Corrections Caselaw Catalog
Created in 1985, this document presents over 9,200 key court case summaries under 50 major topic headings. The Catalog is updated annually, adding new case summaries and amending cases that have been modified since initial publication. At least 300 new cases are added each year. Maintaining the Caselaw Catalog requires continuous monitoring of court decisions at the federal and state level.
